Dr. Joe Dispenza created this meditation campaign in spring 2020 to create connection and love during this time where we are physically separated and there is so much fear and uncertainty.
There are many benefits of doing meditation and especially heart opening meditation. By sending love out, you are also receiving it. By opening your heart, you are filling yourself with love first and then allowing it to move out from you. This can be very healing.
The research shows that we can actually affect others by opening our hearts. When you open your heart and feel elevated emotions, the heart starts to beat in a coherent way resulting in you feeling more wholeness and more connection. You can begin to entrain other people’s nervous systems to have the same feeling.
I hope you will give this a try even if it outside of your comfort zone.
You can do the meditation for:
yourself, your younger self, a body part you are struggling with (eg. your aching back)
a pet or child
someone neutral
someone difficult
You can let the person know you are doing the meditation for them or not. You don’t have to set up a special time. You can send them a personal message to let them know you are doing the meditation and a link to this page so that they can do the meditation for someone they love.
Just say:
Hi! I am doing a meditation for you because I love you. Be open to receive love!
Even if you are not into the whole campaign idea and spreading it out, I invite you to do the meditation for yourself. Loving yourself heals the world.
